The Legacy House Project’s mission is to create affordable housing for AmeriCorps VISTA members by restoring a previously condemned home and reducing blight in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, one of Duluth’s most underserved communities. 

With your help, we can:

• Clean up a condemned property and make it usable.
• Preserve a historic building while creating affordable housing for community volunteers.
• Provide a model for housing redevelopment in our community.
• And more!
   

Your donation will go directly toward the restoration of this previously condemned building including purchasing items such as doors, fixtures, flooring, paint, furniture, appliances, and other construction materials. AmeriCorps VISTAs provide invaluable service to the community, and with your help, we can better support our VISTAs by removing a financial barrier that they so often face.
